Dave Darling has worked with an eclectic and dynamic group of artists, including Glen Campbell, Brian Setzer, John Waite, Stray Cats, Def Leppard, Meredith Brooks, Jack Johnson, Tom Waits, Queen Latifa and Motley Crüe are just a few of the artists with whom this eclectic Los Angeles musician/composer/producer has worked.

Dave started on the other side of the glass in the mid-90’s, releasing two records on Atlantic Records with his band Boxing Gandhis, scoring a hit at AAA radio and a Billboard video award with his song “If You Love Me.”  After that, he joined forces with friend and Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx to form the experimental industrial band 58, releasing one record on BMG.

Dave has produced two Grammy-nominated records and two Grammy-nominated songs, has been nominated twice for the Blues Music Association’s record of the year, and with Janiva Magness won for 2013 Song of the Year (as producer as co-writer).

Dave also produced Janiva Magness’s 2014 release, Original, which topped the national Blues chart, and Cindy Alexander’s sixth album, Curve, released by Blue Élan Records in late 2014,  Curve has received L.A. Music Critic award nominations for Best Rock CD, Best CD Female, and Best Single (for “Heels Over Head,” which Dave also co-wrote).  Dave currently is producing the debut albums for two other Blue Élan artists.
